The Van Vault Outback is built to give you complete peace of mind when it comes to protecting your tools. Designed for strength and tested to the highest standards, it’s one of the toughest van boxes available and the only range on the market that has been both Secured by Design accredited to the Police Preferred Specification and Sold Secure tested to the Security Cabinets Silver standard.
This heavy-duty van box is constructed from 3mm steel with full phosphated anti-corrosion protection, ensuring durability even in harsh working environments. The reinforced lid is engineered to withstand crowbar or car jack attacks, while the NEW Vaultlock locking system adds another layer of defence. Each box is fitted with two 70mm stainless steel disc padlocks that are anti-pick, anti-drill, and anti-rust, and it comes supplied with three dimple-style Van Vault keys per lock.
Practicality meets security with thoughtful design features throughout. The gas strut support arm provides a smooth, soft open and close action and is positioned through the side of the box to maximise internal storage space. Flush comfort grip handles make it easier to move, while a lid handle bolted with plastic fixings prevents it from being used as a leverage point in an attack. For added flexibility, four reinforced base fixing points are pre-drilled for secure installation, and can also be used to fit optional castor wheels.
With a 258-litre capacity, the Van Vault Outback is large enough to store a wide range of tools and equipment while keeping them safe, secure, and dry. It weighs 60kg and measures 1335mm x 490mm x 558mm externally, with internal dimensions of 1244mm x 484mm x 430mm, and stands 920mm high with the lid open. Backed by a 1-year warranty and supplied with all necessary fitting instructions and hardware, this van box is ready to deliver reliable protection from both theft and the elements.
