What is an Armco barrier?
Armco is the trade name for corrugated steel guardrail beam on posts - the standard vehicle-impact barrier on roads, yards and loading areas. We supply genuine galvanised Armco sections and compatible hoop systems.
How far apart are the posts?
Typically 1.6m - 3.2m centres depending on the impact rating and post type. Loadings and spacing are confirmed in your site survey.
Can I install it myself?
Yes - our starter kit is a genuine DIY package with fixings. But posts must be core-drilled or concreted correctly for the rating to be real, so most commercial clients have us install.
Powder-coated or plain galvanised?
Galvanised only is the durable classic. Powder-coat over galvanising adds your brand colour and hi-vis options - same steel life underneath.
