Retractable, removable or automatic?
Retractable sinks into the ground and is the best everyday balance for homes. Removable is cheaper and ideal for occasional use. Automatic suits frequent access where staff or visitors come and go.
Do bollards need a drain?
Retractable posts need water management. We'll assess your driveway layout and draining in the survey - many installs use a soakaway or existing surface fall.
How deep is the excavation?
Typically 600-900mm depending on model and ground conditions. We cut clean, set the socket, and reinstate the surface properly.
Can I buy just the post and fit it?
Yes - posts are available to buy online. For driveways and commercial entrances, we always recommend our install to keep the warranty valid.
